Copenhagen
Description
Wonderful, Wonderful Copenhagen as the song rightly claims takes its place in the portfolio of cities in which FLE look forward to offering our range of courses. Seat of Denmark’s national parliament, the government and the monarchy the city is truly one of the world’s great capitals. As the natural gateway to Scandinavia Copenhagen offers an attractive and strategic location in a high quality business environment
Copenhagen’s importance grew in the summer of 2000 with physical linkage to the Swedish city of Malmo, Copenhagen becoming the centre of a larger metropolitan area which spans both nations.
Attractively located on the Eastern shore of the island of Zealand and partly on the island of Amager the city inhabitants number around 1 million people, all of whom are able to enjoy the truly cosmopolitan features of a major city set in a stunning location with a long and fascinating heritage.
Copenhagen has been ranked third European city after London and Paris in attracting corporate headquarters. The city is a hub for technology based companies, especially within pharmaceuticals, chemicals, biotech and IT and telecommunications. FLE look forward to presenting our courses in the offices of one or more of the corporate giants and letting participants see at first hand how FM is handled locally by household name companies.
When it is time to relax Copenhagen is known as a 24 hour party city with a great variety of fine restaurants with an international cuisine. For those seeking the ultimate in gastronomic privilege there are no less than ten Michelin starred restaurants.
In keeping with the status of the city there are a huge variety of hotels to choose from and access through airports, (Malmo and Copenhagen), rail and car could not be simpler.
Come and join us in the Scandinavian gateway for a truly memorable learning experience.
