Description
Participants apply tools that integrate all the FM competencies into a complete, simple system focused on delivering quality and improving service and shown how to identify reliable information sources for establishing quality standards. Benchmarking
Participants learn how to document the processes they use to produce FM results and then compare their processes with the best in the industry. Systems thinking is a key concept in this unit. Data Analysis
Participants will learn how to analyze operations and learn why they get the results they do. In formulating questions of FM quality, concepts and techniques such as data quality, quality documentation, client satisfaction surveys, problem identification and cause analysis are included. InnovationThis unit describes how competent facility managers continuously investigate ways to improve facility services, assess risks and opportunities and conduct pilot tests when developing new procedures. Elements of the course include the importance of both strategic and incremental improvements. Auditing and Continuous Improvement
Continuous improvement as the goal of all FM’s is dealt with in this unit. Features include the purpose and management of ongoing audit activities, essential elements of an ISO audit and the application of Baldridge criteria.
