Business of FM (Part 2)
Description
The objective of this course is to advance participants general knowledge of facility management. The full course is structured to provide a comprehensive introduction to the subject. Learning takes place over two x two day courses, and is supported by pre and post course self assessment checklists. A group case study experience serves to reinforce the learning.
The course introduces the nine FM competency areas and provides an excellent grounding for further learning in each of the competence areas.
These courses are suitable for learners with a general education and from limited to 8 years experience of FM. These are the essential foundations for learning about FM.
The Business of FM Part 2 (BOFM2) Operations and Maintenance Outlines how efficient, cost effective support services throughout the organisation contribute to a productive, safe environment that meets the organisations needs.
Advancing the Business: Finance; Real Estate; Planning and Project Management Shows how planning and the application of basic financial and real estate practices and principles are used to attain corporate goals.
